Orchid Guardian Terms of Use

These Terms of Use explain the basic rules for using Orchid Guardian, an app from Apps by Randy. By using Orchid Guardian, you agree to these terms.
About Orchid Guardian
Orchid Guardian helps users track orchids, photos, care notes, reminders, light checks, care history, local weather context, and growing-place guidance. The app provides practical care guidance based on information you enter, Apple WeatherKit weather information, and features available on your device.
Not Professional Advice
Orchid Guardian is an informational care tool. It does not guarantee plant health, bloom results, pest prevention, weather accuracy, or recovery from disease, damage, or environmental stress. You are responsible for deciding how to care for your plants.
Your Information and Content
You are responsible for the plant names, notes, photos, care records, growing-place information, and other information you add to the app. Do not add content that you do not have the right to use or share.
The app may store your information on your device and, when available, through Apple's private iCloud/CloudKit services. Please review the Orchid Guardian Privacy Policy for more detail.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse Orchid Guardian, attempt to disrupt the app, reverse engineer the app except where allowed by law, or use the app in a way that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.
App Store License
If you download Orchid Guardian through Apple's App Store, your use of the app is also subject to Apple's app license terms, including Apple's Standard End User License Agreement unless a different license is provided in App Store Connect.

Third-Party Services
Some Orchid Guardian features depend on Apple services, device permissions, iCloud, WeatherKit, notifications, camera access, photo access, widgets, or Apple Watch support. Those services may be unavailable, delayed, changed, inaccurate, or controlled by your device settings.
WeatherKit weather information is provided through Apple services. Weather and location-based care notes are informational and should not be treated as a guarantee of actual conditions around every plant.
Changes to the App or Terms
Apps by Randy may update Orchid Guardian or these Terms of Use from time to time. If the terms change, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
No Warranty
Orchid Guardian is provided as is and as available. Apps by Randy does not promise that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, accurate, or able to meet every orchid care need.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Apps by Randy is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of plants, data, profits, or opportunities arising from use of the app.
Termination
You may stop using Orchid Guardian at any time. Apps by Randy may limit or discontinue the app if needed to protect the app, comply with law, or address misuse.
