LeafFolio Privacy Policy

Your collection is private.

LeafFolio is designed to keep your plant collection personal. This policy explains what information LeafFolio handles and how it is used.

Information LeafFolio Handles

LeafFolio stores the information you choose to add about your plants, such as plant names, botanical information, photos, notes, locations, collections, acquisition details, quantities, wishlist or archive status, and plant history.

Where Your Collection Is Stored

Your LeafFolio collection is stored on your Apple devices and is configured to sync through your private iCloud account using Apple CloudKit.

Apps by Randy does not operate a separate account system or collection server for LeafFolio.

Photos

You can choose photos from your Photos library or take photos using LeafFolio. When you choose an existing photo, LeafFolio uses Apple’s system photo picker.

If you enable Save camera photos to Photos, LeafFolio can also save a copy of a new photo you take in LeafFolio to your Photos library. This setting is optional and is off by default.

iCloud Sync

When iCloud is available, LeafFolio uses Apple CloudKit to keep your collection up to date across your Apple devices. Your CloudKit data is associated with your Apple ID and private iCloud account.

Care Basics

Care Basics uses reference information bundled inside LeafFolio. It does not send your plant information to an online plant-identification service or artificial-intelligence service.

Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

LeafFolio does not include advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking. LeafFolio does not sell your personal information.

Exporting Your Collection

If you choose to export your collection, LeafFolio creates a copy of your LeafFolio information and photos. You decide where that exported copy is saved or shared.

Managing and Deleting Your Data

You can delete plants and other collection information directly in LeafFolio. You can also manage LeafFolio’s access to Photos and other protected system resources in the Settings app on your Apple device.

If you stop using LeafFolio, you can delete the app and manage its iCloud data through your Apple device and iCloud settings.

LeafFolio does not operate a separate account or collection server, so Apps by Randy does not maintain a separate copy of your collection that requires an account-deletion request.

Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated as LeafFolio changes. The current version will always be available on this page.
